Why Daydreaming is Good For You

Do you ever stare unseeing out of the window, whilst dreaming of another life; another time; another place?

I always feel they are like little pauses for your mind.

A delightful daydream just for a few precious seconds, might just be your mind curiously contemplating for something to be different.

You should take note.

Where does your mind go? What do you dream of?

It’s like a little nudge from your soul.

Something needs your attention, needs rebalancing, needs a little love.

So, next time you catch yourself staring into space; don’t berate yourself. Instead thank your psyche – it’s communicating.

The question is…are you listening?

  1. You’re absolutely right on this. One daydreams because it is ones truest desires to be in that moment. For me, it is an escape, a reminder of where I see myself down the road and we should all take the time to acknowledge it.. as you mentioned 🙂

  2. I daydream all the time haha and I’ve been caught more times than I’d like to admit. Now I have an excuse to say it’s good for you! 😂

  3. When I was a kid, in school, I used to get in trouble all the time for not paying attention; the reality, of course, is that I was daydreaming. I value daydreaming for the exact reasons you mentioned here – sometimes they are modes for idea generation, but sometimes there are things that need to be addressed.
Lately, I have been having a lot of daydreams, but I’m not so sure should mention them…they’re not for normal conversation. 😉

        1. Not stupid – but I can understand your hesitation. Honestly though, you probably already know what they mean, deep down you do. Maybe its not the right time for you to acknowledge them yet? Be kind to yourself 🙂

  4. How true!
Sometimes it’s our spirit man bring to our consciousness all that we crave or hope for, or desperately seek or need to commence seeking
    But everytime,it’s beautiful 🙂
