Monthly Musings: October

img_1881

October has been a quiet old month for me.

Perhaps it’s the shedding of the leaves, the changing of the landscape and the arrival of new colours and cold nights, but I feel slightly nostalgic. Autumn is passing by in a blur of misty mornings and evenings spent snuggling in warm pyjamas.

Maybe this is the calm before the storm (the Christmas storm), or a time to reflect on all that we have experienced this year so far and express thanks and gratitude.

Whether or not you celebrate Thanksgiving and Harvest, how about taking a moment to notice and celebrate the best bits of your world? Here’s mine…

I’d like to say thank you to all my readers and I am grateful for all that I am learning on this ‘blogging’ journey!

This month has been my quietest so far since starting back in February. But I still love it! I love connecting with you all. Thanks for being my tribe.

As we head into November, here’s one final thought to leave you with…

  1. My Octobers always seem to be hectic. Mine consisted of midterms, finding new paths, carving pumpkins, birthdays, celebrations, fireworks, essays, and a whole lot more.

  2. I’m so glad we’re pen pals!! I had a fun October! I took a staycation for a week to celebrate my anniversary. I also got to visit with my 4 month old niece, & make up for lost time with a good friend who has moved back from Virginia!! I hope you have a great November!
